Crane lifts cannon from Martello Tower
A crane had to be called in to recover a 250-year-old cannon from the moat of a former fortress at Felixstowe today. The 18th century cannon was found in the grounds of a Napoleonic Martello Tower - Q Tower, now a private house, on South Hill - overlooking the resort's seafront.
