A MOTHER involved in a horrific bus accident in Ipswich has had an emotional reunion with her daughter, it emerged today. Lisa Holmes is continuing is recover at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge after she suffered head injuries and pelvic fractures when she fell under a Bixley-bound bus in Tacket Street last month.

A HEROIN user has been fined £100 after being caught with a wrap containing the drug concealed in a trouser leg. Benjamin Wright, of Downside Close, Ipswich, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of diamorphine, namely heroin, on March 13.

Body found in river
SPECIALIST fire crews were called in to pull a woman's body from a Suffolk river after police found missing pensioner. A spokesman for Suffolk police confirmed the body dragged from the River Stour at Sudbury was that of May Campbell, who disappeared from her home in the town on Wednesday.
