I gave the lloyds tavern a look very friendly staff good food an lots of drink offers all the time. Ill be useing this pub more often. Well worth a look.

went in this pub on sat night had a good night on thier new karaoke system, bar staff were polite and i enjoyed to be in the pub i prefere it to the volts or cricketers and fosters is £2.20 and carling is £2.40 which are not bad prices for town, i have not tried the food yet but i work during the day but i shall be going back for a try as all food that people talk about is presented well.

I use the lloyds tavern all the time now its run well an serves good beer an good food. Its so much cleaner. Well worth a look..

hi i visit this pub regulary now i dont live far from the place and since the two new young men have taken it over the place has a lot more business and i struggle to find a seat most weekends...christmas eve and new years eve was a blast had my usual Ipa and still tastes good...would recomend to everyone!..food is more then suitible with two very good cooks.

The place was once reasonable but the management changes 2-3 times a year and seems to get worse each time.

I visited the pub in November 2007. The surroundings were in need of attention but it was clean. I had a wonderful meal .. well presented and Colleen the waitress was friendly and helpful. I returned to the pub in Dec 2007. What a difference! The waitress was struggling to cope and I learned there was a new manager called Roger who was doing nothing much to help her. I don't know who the last manager was but bring them back . . . LLoyds needs them!
