Used to be much better. Had the 'special set menu' £9.95 - the garlic mushrooms looked like tinned mushroom just sliced and warmed through in garlic/oil. Main meal wasn't very hot. I've visited numerous times over the years and it really is not as good as it was.

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant. 14 of us went for a friends birthday in Jan 09. After hearing the ad campain on the radio we were looking forward to a lovely meal, we left very disappointed. We waited 45 minutes to get a drink, an hour and a half for our 4 starters (one of which was dropped on the floor) and two hours for our mains. When they did arrive they were luke warm. The waiters couldnt care less and had serious chips on their shoulders, they were however quite content to keep giving us Tiger Beer and at £4 per pint you dont wonder why. I dont know what the problem was, the other tables in there with two/four people were the same. We did get a 20% discount off the bill but the principal was missed. We were in the restaurant for over three hours. People say good things about this restaurant so I can only think they were having a bad service, maybe the chef had called in sick. The point is, once bitten twice scorned. And there are plenty of other indians in Ipswich.

This is without doubt the best Indian for miles, I am recommending it to all of my friends! The food is out of this world and the service is great. Very reasonable priced too.

one of the best restaurants in ipswich, must be visited. highly recomended food, excelent tikka birani and four course meal enjoyed with my family. 11 out of 10!

One of the best indians in suffolk, loads of food, great chicken phal, massive portions.service excellent staff great.
