I took my 5 year old son to the Birds of Prey Centre (Suffolk Owl Sanctuary) at Stonham Barns, we had a fantastic time. It is extremely well organised and certainly a whole day out - there are numerous flying displays, each showing a different set of birds so worth seeing more than one display, there are a number of picnic benches, a small maze, a play area for kids and it is extremely clean and tidy. They have a nice treasure trail which keeps children interested in finding out about all the birds. My son loved it so much he is desperate to go again. Price was reasonable too! On site there are a number of different units/shops/businesses so there are more things for the adults to wander round too. we WILL be going again soon.

I have recently been to the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary at Stonham Barns, it was quite a day with everything to see and do on the complex. The Birds of Prey Centre organise flying displays at set times throughout the day, you can see all sorts of birds in averies in their extensive grounds, obsrve the red squirrel colony and the raptor hospital. With the Birds of Prey Centre and everything else to see at Stonham Barns we had a great day out. We will visit again this summer.
